On the 2nd September 2022, Viaduct Housing Partnership’s largest scheme to date took home first prize for ‘Best New Development in the North’. Now in its 13th year, the First Time Buyer Awards host some of the most prestigious names in housing - all of whom support aspirational homeowners onto the property ladder.
The former Battersby Hat Factory is an iconic hallmark of Stockport’s local landscape; production heights once saw 12,000 hats produced in a single week. The site is now under transformation, comprising of 144 properties and creating a brand-new community within the heart of Offerton.
Viaduct are delighted to be amongst such reputable names all working towards a common goal, and continue to contribute towards Stockport’s regeneration whilst keeping customers at the heart.
The award demonstrates the great lengths the partnership has gone to in providing essential, high-quality homes for first time buyers within Stockport. Whilst the scheme is unique and eye-catching, it remains accessible for potential buyers to kickstart their journey towards home ownership.
